Book Review: "Who Moved My Cheese?

I've been read a lot of books in the last few years, yet I found one book so catching "Who Moved My Cheese?". This book kept me re-read several times, even watched the short movie in YouTube, but I felt I got new things/ideas from this book every time I read it. The concept of this book is about "Change". the way that the author Xxxxx presented his idea was through metaphor by telling the story of 4 characters: - The mices:  - The little humans: Hem and Hor Even though the book was written in late 1980s, it still can be applied in our work and life. Change happens everyday if we carefully spot it. our age, skin, body changed. the weather changed. Our feeling changed.  The whole concept of this book is to how to be well-prepared for changes, spot the change, and deal with change. Change is somehow better if we know how to use it as opportunity. I would recommend you read this book. it is just about 40 pages, but we can get countless ideas from it...

Deal with Big Boss

Have you ever felt that you were not valuable on your tasks when you showed it to your boss? Have you ever felt that whatever you did was not the appreciated or what your boss like?  If you used to, don't feel discouraged or angry with your boss. Ask yourself a few questions "1. Have you asked your boss what he wants?" 2. Have you verified your understanding with your boss?" 3. Have you double checked on thing you felt doubt?" If the answer is NO, means that you are wrong. Most employee usually assume that they knew what their boss want and not really dare to ask questions for the fact that their boss may feel they are not smart enough. However, ene should know that BIG boss are too busy and he/she doesn't have much time on explanation, but during the task assignment, it is ok to ask whatever questions, but after that you still have time to ask, but do not often.
