Is Playing Game Good? the Case Study on Clash of Clan (CoC)

When it comes to games, most people, especially parents, think that it is bad. However, if well-managed with rule, playing game can build more reflection, strategic thinking and critical thinking to players.
Now, I’d like to take one online strategy game “Clash of Clan (CoC)” as a case study to prove that playing game is good for mind. CoC is a famous strategic game, created by SuperCell,  that generates millions of revenue. This game helps player to be reflected faster and build their strategic and critical thinking. Why? In order to win a 3-minute battle to get “3 Stars”, players need to think on how to use what types of army and where to starts the fight. In case, players well-prepared and reflect on using good strategy, they end up gaining the wealth as well as at least 1 star. The more they play, the better their thinking are.

However, there is a drawback as well “addiction”. Playing the game without rule will ruin the time of players. That’s why we need the rule to limit yourself when is the good time to play and when is not. For parents, they should schedule the time for their children to play the game and should not allow them to play any games whenever/wherever they want. Create the rule for them so it will also build the good habit for them as well.
Below is just the video of the battle in CoC:
